signed, sealed, delivered.

We’re doing some reorganizing at the flower shop, so for the last several days I’ve been on the road delivering orders. It’s always fun — and eye-opening! — to get out on the street and experience peoples’ reactions to your product. Especially when they have no clue that you’re the owner and designer. On Monday morning I dropped a cute bouquet designed in a lime-filled vase to the hospital, and as the two front desk volunteers busied themselves with tracking down the recipient and signing me into the delivery log, they asked where I worked.

“Lasater,” I replied.

“Oh, I love Lasater,” one volunteer said to the other. “She always does the most beautiful arrangements!”

And my heart melted into a puddle right there.

  1. They can’t be charged. The FTC doesn’t have jurisdiction outside of the United States and it’s too minor of a crime to justify the huge cost of asking their home country to extradite them for trial.

  2. Do you mind if I quote a few of your posts as long as I provide credit and sources back to your site? My blog is in the very same niche as yours and my users would definitely benefit from a lot of the information you present here. Please let me know if this ok with you. Cheers!

  3. Awesome :) Also, cute shades!

  4. Lovely feedback. I’m a big believer in asking the customer and front line staff about what products work, what they like etc.
