>hipstamatic!

>

Oh iPhone, I love you more and more every day. Second Skin blogged about the hipstamatic app earlier this week, and then my friend Cathy posted pics to facebook using the same app. Naturally, I had to purchase it and try it out myself. It didn’t disappoint. There are a variety of built in lenses and films, and more are available for purchase. I love the color saturation of the John S lens, which is perfect for day three of Summer Black-Out 2010.
I have to say, it’s been really refreshing reaching for color in my closet! My mom gave me this white blazer as part of the huge swag she brought over last week (I swear, it was like Christmas). It’s a couple of sizes too big and needs to be altered, but I paired it with a billowy shirt to fill it in a bit until I can get it to the tailor. I added skinnies to the bottom to balance out the proportions. [Tip: if you’re doing volume on the top, keep it fitted on the bottom, and vice versa].
These adorable wedges are available now at Payless for $24.99, and it’s BOGO time! I had a moment in the store and bought four pair of summer wedges, which is the most I’ve bought at once in quite a long time, but my total rang up at only $80.
Let’s dish about the jewels: If you’ve never heard of Stella & Dot, it’s a direct sales line of boutique jewelry and it’s some of the cutest stuff you’ve ever seen. Last year I was an independent stylist with them, but decided not to renew this year because I’m super swamped with my new business. I definitely recommend checking it out. You can find a stylist in your local area and host a trunk show, or just order online and it will ship directly to you. I’m wearing the starfish earrings and the Adele cuff
