>Monday Morning Give-Away!

Happy Monday — if there is such a thing. I wore this to date night with the hubs on Saturday night (an early bird dinner out followed by a True Blood marathon on the couch = true love). I love this Dalena Vintage skirt that I won in a give-away from Taylor at Sterling Style.

Mondays have a pretty crummy reputation. To try to make yours better, I’m starting a Monday Morning Give-Away to run through the summer. Every Monday, I’ll give away something from my outfit that day. When I told my husband this idea, he said, “That’s awesome! You can start to get rid of some of the stuff in your closet.”

So someone gets a brighter start to the week, and I do some summer de-cluttering! Today, this ivory bracelet is up for grabs.

All you have to do is leave a comment with a few words about your Manic Monday — the good, the bad, and the ugly — before 11:59pm tonight. Please be sure to leave me your URL or an email address (or both!) so I can contact the lucky lady. I’ll draw in the morning and announce the winner in tomorrow’s post.

  • >Oh crap, I missed it! Well, I really love the outfit, the skirt is just fabulous and congrats to the lucky winner of the gorgeous bracelet! My Monday was pretty good actually, I base my days on how good my photos turn out because I refuse to concern myself with work worry any more :)

  • >I spent my Monday at the Wizarding World of Harry Potter in Orlando…perfectly styled, of course! Got up at 5:30, left at 6:30, and I was in the sun all day for a special little girl :) I got to spend an hour with her the night before helping her pick out an outfit, and I had mine together too. We had a great time, but I am sunburned, tired, rambling, and hoping to win a bracelet!

  • >Ha, I would have left a comment anyways. Unexpected DAY OFF today. Not one bit manic. Do I still qualify? Going to watch An Education while my kids are still in school. Sweet. Let me know when you auction off that bag!

  • >some mondays aren't that bad- today is just "eh" I overslept, but I still made it to work on time. Tired but I like my outfit. What is keeping me going on this monday, so far, is knowing that I'm leaving work early on Friday to go camping for the weekend! LOL Lunch is good- having a hamburger from yesterday. only bad thing is that I'm still groggy and tired. :) Hope your monday is great! I love that bracelet! Adorable. :)

  • >Ohhhh Mondays. Not too bad so far. Baby woke up with a smile, as usual, he always brightens my morning. Dropped off both kids, each at different daycares. Headed to work, tried putting makeup on in car, I was naughty. Ended up pulling over to finish.Just got out of a really boring 1 1/2 hr meeting in which my stomach decided to growl the entire time. Couldn't hide it, just had to admit to everyone that I hadn't eaten anything yet.Just started my blog so I don't exactly know that I am doing yet. Still trying to find my way but I included it anyway. http://stefssimplestyle.blogspot.com/

  • >oh! This bracelet is precious! I love it. Your skirt is adorable too. I got up early to cook breakfast for my son before heading out to work. Normally he gets cold cereal but he has been asking for scrambled eggs lately. Then he only ate half of them (grrrrr….) Anyway, I am at work now and drooling over your cute spring outfit.

  • >My Mondays:Wake up, wash my face, walk the dog, eat breakfast. Go on the computer. Most Mondays find about 200 e-mails and 100 Google Reader items to go through – if not more. This morning, my external hard drive decided to stop working. And just when I thought I might erase a memory card or two… FORGET IT!Luckily, my day is getting better all the time!Love,CarolAnnhttp://CharismaU.com
