>times they are a changin’…

Another wildly exciting Saturday night at the Lennox house! Doak is curled up and snoring at my feet and my husband is snoozing on the couch on the other side of the living room. He’s sleeping on the remote, and the TV is tuned to a shark show on National Geographic. I’m catching up on some of my favorite blogs with a glass of merlot. Things get pretty crazy around here…

I thought I’d seize the opportunity to thank you for reading my blog. It’s kind of amazing that you check in with me every once in a while (some of you every day!) to see what I’m wearing and what I have to say about style. It’s been such an amazing experience, and I’ve only just begun!

I’ve been thinking a lot about the blog… what my goals are for its future, and how I want to make it better. As you can see, things look a little different around here. When I started a pretty penny several months ago, it was all about creating head-to-toe looks for $150 or less. While creating looks on a budget will remain a big focus, it won’t be the central theme of the blog going forward.

I want to do more with my blog than just show you how much my clothes cost. I hope to expand a pretty penny into a style, beauty, and lifestyle resource for the every day girl who’s juggling a million priorities and doesn’t leave much time and energy to devote to herself. I’ll dish more about my life and favorite things, and share tricks for holding it all together and keeping things balanced {while looking and feeling like a million bucks}.

I hope you enjoy the changes!
