>Bootcamp Roundup: nearly 1/2 way there…

When I started my Summer Style Bootcamp back at the end of June, it was only supposed to run through the month of July — 27 pieces, 31 outfits. I got behind for one reason or another, so even though July is coming to an end {are we in a time warp?} I’ll still be in bootcamp until I fulfill my 31 posts.

Rest assured, just because I haven’t posted daily doesn’t mean I haven’t been stringent with the rules. In fact, I’m really enjoying having such limited choices in my wardrobe. It’s made my life much easier, and I’ve gotten pretty creative and resourceful at remixing. This is big, coming from a girl who never wore the same outfit twice and bought items of clothing to wear once or twice and then banished them from her closet forever.

On the same note, I haven’t bought a single piece of clothing, accessory, or pair of shoes since bootcamp began. And crazily enough, I haven’t really wanted to shop. And there’s money in my bank account {insane}. And my bills are paid on time.

I think I could really get used to this simplified style regimen… I’m actually tempted to do this every month. But I probably won’t. At least not yet.

How’s everyone else doing with their 30 for 30 challenges? Any other life-changing breakthroughs out there? ;)

  1. >I love 13! White pants always look so great on other people – haven't managed to work them into my wardrobe yet. I'll just live vicariously through people who can rock them :). Love the brown accessories with the white. I'm tempted to do the 30 for 30 every month too… on the other hand, there has to be some other way to keep the benefits going afterward. Hmm… http://buttonjar.blogspot.com
