Holy chicfaced, it’s August!
I was supposed to be finished with this little bootcamp experiment by the end of July, and I still have a delightful dozen outfits to go. I wish I could pull off mid-day wardrobe changes to speed this thing along, but I’m pretty sure I don’t have the style clout to pull that off.
It’s not that I want bootcamp to end because I haven’t enjoyed it {besides a few snafus between laundry days when I found 20 of my 27 pieces in the hamper}. In fact, as I’ve said before, it’s made my life way simpler.
I’ve realized that my closet is full of things that are already pretty and I’ve had fun remixing looks while trying to keep things fresh. I don’t even really miss shopping {gasp!}.
I’m just ready to get creative with all the other things in my closet, because if there’s one thing this experiment has taught me, it’s how to work your closet and work with what you’ve got.
This time tomorrow, I’ll be on number 20, and one day closer to wrapping up this challenge. In the meantime, I’ll be stalking Kendi everyday since she’s just a couple of posts ahead of me, soaking up inspiration from her mad remixing skills.
