>Sick Day

>Things have been pretty quiet around my little corner of the Internet over the last several days. I’ve also neglected my formspring and email, and I think desert tumbleweeds are rolling across my Twitter profile…

We had a hugenormous parking lot sale at the flower shop on Saturday. We cleaned out all of our old furniture and gift inventory to prepare for an exciting remodel. I worked 28 hours between Friday and Saturday packing boxes, moving furniture, pricing hundreds of items, and carrying everything outside (with the help of C and my in-laws, of course). It was a lot of hard work, but a totally successful day!

Until Sunday, when my body decided to punish me for it and rendered me completely useless with a splitting headache and stomach bug. Okay, body… lesson learned. I know you’re not accustomed to hardcore physical labor, and I should’ve broken you in gently. Next time, I’ll make time for more than three hours of sleep and proper hydration besides coffee and diet coke.

I’m taking today off to rest up and recuperate [read: staying in my PJs all day drinking hot tea and watching chick flicks] so I won’t catch up on outfit 20 until tomorrow. In the meantime, I’m daydreaming about my Christmas list. Here are a few of my holiday picks under $50. (I’ll do a beauty version soon!)

  1. >I hope your bug doesn't stick around for too long!On a happier note; I love #2, 4, 5 and 9. I actually loved all of them but felt I had to choose which would be among my top favourites. I'm excited I discovered your blog through the challenge and I've enjoyed following your posts. So much so that I've tagged you in my seven secrets post!

  3. >I hope you feel better soon, dear! Those booties look adorable, though, I might be biased because I would probably buy ModCloth out if given the money and opportunity.
