>I don’t have an outfit post for you today. Which is a bummer, because today just happened to be one of those days that I felt pretty cute. C’est la vie [thanks for the correction, Anonymous. I seriously couldn’t agree with your statement more]. I’d tell you all about this feel good ensemble, but there’s a high chance I’ll wear it again this weekend just so I can snap a photo or two and count it among the last ten of my remix outfits.
Just because I’ve been a total posting slacker doesn’t mean the other 30 for 30 remixers aren’t tearing it up and making this challenge their, er… own (mom reads this blog). While I really wish I had time to visit all 300+ of their blogs and get to know each of them through this challenge, there’s just not enough time in the day. But I do have a handful of favorites that I stalk visit at least a few times a week.
Here are a few of my favorite posts from my favorite remixers this week:
I adoreSydney‘s style, and her video tutorial about her signature belt and scarf tricks just made me love her even more.
Um, can we talk about how Kendi can stand in front of garbage and still look a million-billion bucks?! Besides that, Kendi has reaffirmed for me through this challenge that I really need a tweed blazer in my wardrobe. Maybe this one?
I can’t believe Jamie waited so long to break out this awesome vest in her 30! She always rocks the classic-American-menswear-inspired look so effortlessly. (P.S. Jamie, I need to borrow that scarf.)
Just the other day I was thinking about the big void in my closet where the perfect pair of high-waisted pants should be. Then I saw this post by Kyla and decided I must remedy this as soon as possible.
I wantneed gotta have a leather mini skirt! And a bold gingham button-up. So I can wear them together, just like this. Jen is one hot mommy!
First of all, Tania is a master remixer. If ever you need inspiration for working a handful of pieces in a hundred ways, just cruise over to her blog. Second, I think there’s a little club of style bloggers who have this adorable Target lace skirt, and I want in.
