>My Favorite ReStyle Moments: The Kick-Off

>This week, over 400 bloggers kicked off Project ReStyle, the eco-friendly brainchild of Elsie and Rachel. Upcycle creativity is sprouting up all over the web, and I’ve been doing my best to keep up with the first week of projects. While I’ve loved nearly every one I’ve come across, there were a few that were just so good, I had to share them with all of you. And it’s only Tuesday, so my little heart flutters to imagine all the goodness ahead…

NYE After
Can you believe what Angie did with this dress?! From a frumpy frock to a perfect NYE cocktail dress? I mean…
If you’re not reading Sew I Thought, I definitely recommend adding it to the ol’ blogroll.
Necklace After
Kara made this Anthropologie-inspired necklace using a few damaged vintage faux-pearl necklaces and a beautiful piece of scrap fabric. This one requires a sewing machine, and I’m thinking about taking my mom up on her offer to hand hers down.
Alice Dress Restyle
I’m still pretty new to this thrifting thing (I’ve only been shopping secondhand since starting my blog back in March) and I cringe to think of all the dresses I passed up because I didn’t have Andrea’s dress-makeover vision.
storagespace
A vintage suitcase transformed into a beautiful traveling doll house. Is this the sweetest thing you’ve ever seen? Little Dolly even has an enviable wardrobe!
Impressive, right? You can keep up with all the ReStyle action on the Flickr group, or join in on the fun yourself by signing up here

  1. >I've been so impressed with what people are doing with the restyling. AWESOME STUFF! I wish had more time. I keep getting all these ideas but am to busy to get them done! :/

  2. >Hey!My name is Ashley, I'm the girl behind the blog A Hasty Life. I recently started the well-known 30 for 30 series. I chose 30 articles of clothing (including shoes!!) to wear for 30 days! I would love your feedback and (if you enjoy my blog) follow along during the series. I'm stopping by your blog and seeking your feedback because I stumbled across your blog and liked what I saw. It's a pleasure *meeting* you!<3 Ashleywww.ahastylife.com

  3. >I am completely blown away by the talents people have! I wish I had gotten to know a sewing machine when I had one at my disposal!

  4. >ReStyling is amazing. Did you see the gal featured on Yahoo a couple months back who was investing $365 for 365 days and turning ugly dresses into fabulous frocks? Very impressive.
