When I got dressed this morning, I stood in my closet with two things in mind: comfort and practicality. I pulled together this little number designed for a day of a frazzled-lady-versus-her-looming-to-do-list {you can only hide it under stacks of floral supply catalogues and takeout menus on your desk for so long}.
Today was about heavy lifting: reworking windows, adding new clothing fixtures to the floor, processing inventory, and running flower deliveries. Almost 12 hours later, I feel like I didn’t even tackle a third of what I hoped to accomplish today… But tomorrow’s another day. I did sneak in a lunch date with my very handsome business partner and some amazing bacon mac and cheese, which was lovely, and totally worth getting a little behind schedule.
The best thing about this outfit? I just got home about thirty minutes ago, pulled off my boots and lost the belt, and I’m couch-potato-ready. Instant potato, if you will. {Maybe I should go start dinner}.
What do you think?
