thankful

I hope you’re spending the day with the people you love, eating like there’s no fitting into your pants tomorrow, and honoring holiday traditions. I’m heading to the kitchen to whip up a big batch of The Pioneer Woman’s broccoli casserole, a pan or two of my grandmother’s sour cream cornbread, and some Bakerella cake balls. Then I’m going to watch cheesy family movies all afternoon until it’s time to head to my parents’ house for dinner.

I try to take a little time out of every day to give thanks for all of our blessings, but today especially, my heart is filled with gratitude. For my hubs, our family, our friends that feel like family, and YOU!

Happy Thanksgiving, friends!

So how did that casserole turn out? I saw it and thought it was either going to be really yummy, or a little scary depending on your feelings toward Velveeta. ;)
