I’m pretty stoked to have a short work day today. The Mister is holding down the shop and giving me the afternoon off to get ready for the weekend. Bless his heart.
Today’s to-do list:
Whip up a last minute black-tie/cocktail look for a local charity event, Champagne and Shamrocks. It’s an annual dinner concert benefiting the local symphony guild. This year’s event is happening right across the street from the shop, at a newly renovated historic theater. My friend, Katie, asked me to come along as her date ;-) I’m looking forward to a night of jazz and bubbly!
Scour Pinterest for recipes for a cute (and green!) St. Patty’s dessert for a weekend BBQ with the fam.
Clean up after the tasmanian devil that I’m convinced blew through my house this week while we were working or sleeping.
Catch up on my favorite DIY blogs for inspiration for a little crafting session with my mom on Sunday. She has a craft room that rivals Michael’s, and there are a lot of projects I want to work on to share on the blog soon!
Spend at least 20 minutes outside soaking up this glorious spring weather. It’s a perfect Florida day, and I hope it lasts through the weekend.
