It’s been a minute since I’ve been thrift shopping, but I had an hour to kill last Saturday while waiting for a timed birthday party delivery so I popped in one of my old haunts near the shop. Everything in the store was 50% off — lucky day! — and I found quite a haul of vintage and designer duds. I spotted this little number on the dress rack and added it to my pile because I thought it was a cute sundress for spring and summer.

I brought it home and tossed it in the wash, and found it this morning when I was getting ready for work. As I pulled it from the laundry basket, I thought, “this would be so cute if it was a romper…” Upon closer inspection, I realized it is a romper! Win!

When I got to the shop, I asked C if he liked my outfit. His long pause said it all. Then I told him it was only $2, and he quickly changed his tune. Boys.

You make this so awesome! It reminds me of junior high a little. But you’ve found a way to make it feel much more modern. Love!

So funny that you mention, Terra, because I’m quite certain I had a romper a third of the size when I was much smaller style enthusiast.

I found it at an outlet store in my small town! I’d been hunting for a snakeskin clutch forever, so I was so excited to find it. And for just $15 :)

I love the combination of the snakeskin and clutch and the floral romper – who would have thought they would go together? Well, I guess you did. Duh! :-)
