Last Saturday, Chad and I celebrated our 5th wedding anniversary! We snuck away to Siesta Key Beach, where we tied the knot half a decade ago. {Half a decade!} If you’re from Florida — or even if you’re not — we recommend a trip to Siesta. It’s been named the #1 beach in the country, and it’s one of our very favorite places to get away.

The timing couldn’t have been better for a battery recharge. We came back to work on Monday facing Mother’s Day, Nurses Week, and Teacher Appreciation Week. It’s going to get wild around here.

I’ll be posting things from our trip throughout the week in an attempt to drag out that good vacation feeling and continue the zen. Think it’ll work? We’ll evaluate at the end of this whirlwind week…

  1. Hi! Quick question that’s completely off topic. Do you know how to make your site mobile friendly?
My weblog looks weird when browsing from my iphone4.
I’m trying to find a template or plugin that might be able to fix this issue.
If you have any recommendations, please share. Thanks!

  2. The treatment is relatively painless and gives very good results for those that are good candidates.
Although they may use the same principle, hot wax can give
better results compared to cold wax. It’s aim is to replace outdated forms of hair removal.
If you will compare the treatment cost with other clinics,
you will find that they are offering very competitive as
well as affordable prices in Delhi as well as NCR. Hair removal therapy with laser technology is quite faster
than the other types of hair removal as each of the pulse can erase numerous
    hair within seconds.

  9. Y’all are so very cute! Congrats on the 5 year anniversary… I wish you 5 more, plus 50!

  10. It’s the #1 Beach in the world! How exciting that you were in Sarasota! You can do some phenomenal thrifting here–hope you had some time to look around.

  11. I noticed you brought the L’Oreal Sublime Sun Sunscreen with the spray nozzle! As a fellow fair-skinned gal who’s going to the beach this weekend, can you tell me if you liked it? I worry about missing spots…

    1. I love it! It’s gotten me through two beach trips without a single burn or splotch. I’ve tried the hydraclear spray and the lotion spray, and I like them both. The spray lotion is more hydrating, but the clear spray is more convenient for touch-ups. The lotion is great, too, and I’ve been using it for day-to-day SPF protection.

What do you think?
