Between relentless rain and “appropriate moving attire,” my day-to-day look this week isn’t exactly blog worthy (and barely fit for the public, quite frankly). So I’m digging through the backlogs to find shots from sunnier days that, for one reason or another, never made it to posting. It’s a reminder that one day soon I’ll be able to dress myself again without worrying about whether an outfit is suitable for bending and lifting, and that maybe the sun will shine again around here. It’s still awfully soggy!

On this particular day a week or so ago, I tried a simple braided updo from one of my new favorite blogs, Wendy’s Lookbook. You can check out a video tutorial here. While you’re there, go ahead and subscribe to her Youtube channel. Then watch 25 Ways to Wear a Scarf in 4.5 MinutesYou’ll be glad you did.

About Keira Lennox

I'm a small town girl from the sunshine state with an affinity for bookstores, beauty counters and unfussy style. I spend my days running my flower shop, and my nights blogging about what I love and what I wear. (Or watching Netflix and drinking wine.)

  1. I’m with you. We’ll be moving out of our house soon. I dread the notion and the lowered heel that results. But seriously, love this look. The blouse is so fresh.

  2. Your hair looks great! Not sure if mine is long enough yet to try it. I read Wendy’s Lookbook too. She’s so cute, although her wardrobe is often annoyingly out-of-reach for me and other normal people :) But thanks for the link to the scarf tutorial. I definitely have to check that out (as I am currently wearing a scarf in a stupid-looking knot because I got tired of trying to make it look better).

    1. Her beautiful wardrobe is out of reach for me, too. But you can always get great inspiration for pairing colors and textures from bloggers, even if you don’t have access to their exact designer duds! :-)
