in the trenches

First, I’d like to give you all a great big Internet {{hug}} for all of your sweet words of support and encouragement following last night’s post about my less-than-stellar day. You brightened my spirits and helped to pull me out of my funk, so thank you!!

While browsing Tar-zhay yesterday, I stumbled upon a rack of adorable printed trench coats. After quietly cursing the Florida weather — still waiting on the first cold front of the season down here — I started thinking about how many ways a modern trench could spice up my cold weather wardrobe… Over a sheath dress, paired with a sweater and skinnies, dressed up with a pencil skirt (not that I wear many of those anymore, but you never know when an important meeting may pop up), and dozens of other combos.

So while waiting for trench-worthy weather, I did a little Internet window shopping and made a little wish-list of some of my favorite affordable styles from around the web!
