Let’s start this week off with a bang, shall we?

I’m so excited to announce this mah-jor giveaway from our partner, HTC! I kicked off 2013 by participating in HTC’s #TroopOneX, a dynamic group of bloggers picked to testdrive the One X+ and use it to capture our everyday moments. Each week, we’re prompted with a challenge to generate content with our new smartphone and share it with our readers.

Since receiving my One X+ a few weeks ago, I’m pretty smitten. Its impressive 8MP camera shoots high-res photos and HD video, so I can leave my digital camera at home. It keeps me organized through my Google mail and calendars, and Google Play is packed with creative apps to keep me inspired (including Instagram) and social media apps that help me stay connected while I’m on the go. It’s been a powerful tool for my blog and my business.

    If I were to win this amazing HTC phone I would give my old iPhone to my husband and learn to use an Android. Since I am the only one in our family of four with a smart phone I never get to use it as it is passed around the house for everyone’s use. The interface looks easy and the camera appears to take good pix.

    I have NEVER had a smartphone and this would be the perfect opportunity for me to start. I would take loads of pictures (amazing camera on this phone) and instagram them, which means I wouldn’t have to tote around a camera and phone.     I would most definitely use this phone to UPDATE MY BLOG :) And of course to store pictures and such as I travel and keep in touch with the loved ones I’ll be leaving at home. It would also be handy to have this so I don’t have to constantly carry around my iPod. I need my music.

    What can’t I do with this phone? My current clam shell is only good for calls, when I do have reception. The battery drains so quick that it’s only good when plugged in the wall.

My children have been homeschooled their whole lives, but we are branching out and my oldest will be attending high school in the upcoming year and this would really help him in school as well!     I would love to win this phone and use it in my special ed class to help teach lower level students through technology. I have many levels of students and to be able to use the HTC One for a particular student who cannot read more than one syllable words (junior high) would be wonderful. The student could be working while I worked with others in the class.

    I’m a hardworking student whos HTC Sensation started melting last week, yes you heard me right…MELTING!!! I work taking care of an elderly couple and am taking 5 classes at The University of Houston. I would use this phone to manage my schedule, keep all my crazy lists in order, take pictures a cute outfits I wanted to copy, and of course receive email updates from APP!!!! In fact there is little I don’t use my phone for! The HTC One looks like an amazing (non-melting) upgrade!!!
