My friend, Katie, snapped this photo of C and Cooper the Blue Great Dane of My Dreams at last night’s Yappy Hour; mostly for photographic evidence of the significant size difference of their craniums. If there was a competition for giantest of heads, Coop would take the trophy and all the glory.
Doak — who is completely oblivious to his own large stature — typically prefers the company of little four-legged friends; he likes his weenies tiny, his Italian Greyhounds delicate, and his Jack Russells small and stacked. He’d rather you didn’t get too close or sniff his backside if you’re a dog over 40 lbs, thankyouverymuch. But he loved Cooper, who was the gentlest of giants and awfully patient while the Doodle gave him a full sniff down and stared adoringly into his eyeballs, snoot-to-snoot.
For a second, I think I had C convinced that we could totally make a Doodle + Dane combo work in our 1700 square foot house.
What do you think?
