Gimme all the Juicy joggers!

IMG_5514To all the ladies in the place who lived out their college years in velour Juicy Couture jumpsuits (or less expensive Express knock-offs, like moi):

Kohl’s carries Juicy for, like, a third of the price Regina George paid for hers way back when. The velour joggers are my favorite. They sold out in stores and online over the holidays, and it seems like they can’t keep them stocked for long. I’m waiting for the perfect sale opportunity to pounce on a pair in black, “regal blue,” or “forged iron.”

I’m not one of those style bloggers who will tell you to wear joggers with heels and a blazer to the office. I do, however, advocate throwing them on with a tee and flip-flops to run your weekend errands. ;-)

So wait, are we saying this is going to become a trend again? I remember I had a black pair in the 90’s I wore all the time with platforms (Oh god, how embarrassing!) But I’d be all about rocking them again the way you’re sporting them!

  5. I am so all about comfort – I am think of getting the set – jogger pants and hoodie – in black…but not sure if I should skip the hoodie and do just the pants. Style guru–too much marchy-matchy?

I went to Kohl’s and saw zero and this was right after Juicy had closed. I went to Santa Monica, Century & Beverly Hills to clean up on their sale. Love my Juicy Sweats!

I definitely had a LAVENDER knock-off jacket & pants set from NY&Co back in college! This is a really cute weekend look. I don’t think the joggers belong in the office, but I’m sure people will start to test the waters.

  15. This looks really good! I never wore joggers or even juicy ones because I never could find a way to wear them:P Love this idea of comfort and how, not everything has to look perfect all the time.

    Have a lovely day!

  16. I love the look! I, too, lived in joggers when I was younger. Thanks for not leading us down the path of wearing these to the office or on a business appointment. Let’s be honest, a pair of heels and a nice bag doesn’t make everything business attire. These are perfect just as you’ve shown them, however, a comfortable alternative to jeans or khakis for running errands or a lunch out with friends. Thank you!

  18. I am ecstatic that this trend is back in the lime light and so glad others are in love with it too! Velour jumpsuits are such a guilty pleasure – would you hate it if I recommended wearing them with Uggs? hahahaha

  • The only thing that would’ve made this @bonappetitmag ‘white pesto pasta’ better is if @lallimusic was in my kitchen when I made it. (I re-watched her video as I prepped, which was the next best thing.) Guys, I cannot overstate the seriousness of my obsession with the @bonappetitmag YouTube channel. Most of my bookmarks on my phone are videos of recipes I want to try, and I’m slowly making my way through ‘em; kind of like ‘Julie & Julia’ but with fewer live lobsters and a little less butter.

  • Spotted this pretty blooming bush on our evening walk through the neighborhood.
Doak got a little *too* close to the smell the flowers. 🤣
  • In today’s edition of #sundaybaking, I took on @bonappetitmag’s ‘best chocolate chip cookies’. I watched the video first — if you’re not following the @bonappetitmag YouTube channel, get on it! — then used the recipe from BA’s website to guide me through it.
Crispy edges + a chewy center + brown butter + giant chunks of 70% dark chocolate = a pretty perfect cookie. 🍪
@moroccochris - I salute you.

  • Clearance vase jackpot at @pier1 this weekend. There are so many great colors and textures in all shapes and sizes from $10-30 with an extra 25% off. ⁣
This was the ultimate test of self-control for me...⁣
I bought 5.
  • Saturday errand style f/ two #styleonabudget favorites from last summer that are still going strong: this gingham ruffle cami I found on a clearance rack at @target + a rattan circle bag I bought for around $25 on @amazon.
I’m killing the cost-per-wear game with these two. 😏 #whatiwore #ootd #summerstyle #stylefiles
