Is this really my first post since August 4th?! I was on such a roll! Also, these cute sunglasses were $16.99 at Target.

I’ll never be a ‘professional’ blogger, because I can’t keep a consistent posting schedule to save my life. There are too many lovely distractions: Frankie & Grace and The Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt on Netflix; my Enchanted Forest coloring book; dinner dates with my parents; the pile of books I rescued from the used bookstore last summer; quality time with my girlfriends, sweatpants, and bottles of rosé; naps!

Oh, and work. Summer is typically a slow season at the flower shop, but we [happily] missed the memo this year. Business is good, the order board is full, and we’re about three months away from moving into our new space. I haven’t done a thing to prepare for the relocation, besides save a handful of items to an Ikea shopping list, but I’m not going to stress about it until at least September. ;-)

    Consistent Blogging is hard! you really have to set some time apart to do it and still life can get in the way… I think the whole point of doing it is having fun! so who cares a few missed posts right?

    Ah I feel the exact same way! I’m finishing up grad school, watching Netflix, and seeing friends. Before I know it, I haven’t posted in 2 weeks. Oopsies. I guess we just have to get in a groove again!

    Random thought: about consistent blogging, not sure if it’s just me but I find the 2 biggest issues are 1. time- choreographing the right photo for a post takes FOREVER! And how about the time to think up the post, get supplies…. 2. Motivation! When you get lots of new viewers and likes, posting regularly is easy ;) but when there’s a downturn in views, you wonder if anyone is even interested in what you have to say :) Just 2 pennies from me :)

    I totally feel you on the lack of consistent blogging! It’s so hard, especially in the fall when I have school on top of my regular responsibilities. This is the first time I’ve had a blog for over a year – I would get so frustrated with my infrequent posts and usually delete after a few months.
    Also – totally crushing on your flats! Where are they from?
