DIY love sign made with large MDF letters, acrylic paint, Mod Podge, and glitter. keiralennox

For my face | After trying all the dupes, I finally bit the bullet and bought an original Beauty Blender. It lives up to all the hype and makes liquid and cream product application quick and flawless. It totally changed my makeup game!

For my hair |  My current lazy girl hair routine: shampoo and condition in the evening; work Hairstory Hair Balm into my towel-dried hair for soft “piecey” texture and frizz control; and air dry. In the morning, I use my curling wand to add waves around my face and through the top layers, then scrunch and go.

For my nailsButter London Patent Shine 10x is an all-in-one long wearing polish that’s formulated to smooth and strengthen nails. It’s a five minute mani in a bottle — no base or top coats needed — that looks like a professional salon service and lasts well over a week. “Shop Girl” is my go-to color right now.

For my skin |  I bought a tube of Jao Goe Body Oil at Bearcat & Big 6, and I’m completely hooked on the 100% natural multitasker made from 28 flower, fruit and plant oils and butters. It’s one of the best hydrating products I’ve ever used for my dry sensitive skin, and works as a makeup remover, flyaway tamer, cuticle healer, face moisturizer, and more.

For my closet |  When our first BAGGU retail shipment arrived at the flower shop, I snagged a leopard “duck bag” canvas tote for myself, and I haven’t carried a real purse since. It fits my laptop, planner, notebooks, clutch wallet, and cosmetic bag with room to spare, and I don’t feel bad about abusing it like I would a leather bag. I’m also really loving my Nike Internationalist trainers; I bought them last month for long days on my feet at the flower shop, but find myself wearing them all the time with skinnies and sweaters.

For my home |  I’m burning my new Bath & Body Works Mahogany Teakwood 3-wick candle constantly. It’s a blend of my favorite scents: clean woods (cedar, mahogany and oak) and fresh lavender.

  6. Hmm. I need to run through my list of beauty faves this way. Maybe make a post called the beauty survival kit instead of the life survival one I do each month. :-) Thanks for sharing your beauty secrets.
