Remix #11 of 30 :: black dress + black slingback sandals

I love when weekends strike the perfect balance of rest, play, and productivity. It’s the trifecta, really. We had a great dinner with friends at Nineteen 61, played our weekly round of golf with my step-dad, finished up Stranger Things on Netflix, made it to the grocery store to restock our fridge for the first time in weeks, and knocked out our chore list around the house.

C had to go into the office yesterday morning to meet a client and we planned to grab breakfast afterward, so I threw on my favorite black dress — it’s no coincidence that it ended up in my summer capsule — with my Jack Rogers ‘Liliana’ slingback sandals (that I found on sale for $40 last year!) and a Nine West hat because you know I’m not washing and styling my hair on the weekends.

I love this Moroccan woven tote. I bought it at Boktoberfest last year, and now I stock them in our gift boutique at the flower shop. They’re a perfect durable summer carryall for the beach, pool, farmer’s market, library, or picnic.
