Remix #12 of 30 :: utility jacket + dark skinnies + black slingback sandals

I’ve worn some variation of this easy outfit for the last three days. One of our employees is enjoying a well-deserved vacation this week, so I’m pulling double-duty as designer and delivery driver while she’s away. This is my perfect kind of outfit for running around, and the tencel anorak jacket from TJMaxx  is a great lightweight layer that makes the look feel a little more pulled together than just a tank and jeans.

This bright Kenneth Cole bucket bag is one of my best Hautelook finds to date; I reach for it all the time, and love the chic pop of color that can spice up super basic outfits like this. Mine is out of season now, but Dooney & Bourke has a similar bucket bag with cute leather tassels on the drawstring in a variety of bright colors, including orange.

These sunglasses were a $10 score on our trip to Siesta Key a few weeks ago. I forgot my sunnies at the hotel, so we popped into a little beach shop and found these. I love that they have kind of a Karen Walker vibe for like 3% of the price.

  1. oo! The jacket looks so comfy and I really love the bright color on the bucket!! The link actually goes to a Furla Bucket Tote instead of Dooney, although Dooney does have a super cute drawstring bag I think I must have!
