Friday’s Five

We just added the Rifle Paper Co. x Corkcicle tumblers and canteens to our gift boutique at the flower shop and we’re head-over-heels for them. They’re flying out the door, but if you’re not local, you can find the ‘Lively Floral’ print here: canteens // tumblers. They also come in a pretty pink floral print and a chic black and gold.

Florist standing in front of a flower shop holding huge bundle of jumbo spiral eucalyptus

We had bunches of this jumbo spiral eucalyptus in the shop, and it smelled ahh-mazing! (You can find my sandals for $18 here; they’re in heavy rotation in my weekday wardrobe this summer.)

Glass of Rose with distressed summer white jeans and gold accessories

Two summer essentials: an ice-cold glass of Rosé and a good pair of white skinny jeans. Snapped while C and I enjoyed a fun Friday evening at the wine bar with his parents last weekend. (These distressed skinnies are from LOFT last year, but these are great, too.)

Doak came back to work this summer! When we moved the flower shop to our current location with a lot more traffic and noise, coming to work with me every day made him anxious and over-tired; for the last several years he’s lived his best life as a retiree. Now he works a few hours on Tuesday mornings, and quickly lets me know when he’s ready to clock out and be chauffeured home. Ha!

Speaking of Doodles, I recently received a free copy of Gemma Correll’s Doodled Dogs, Dozens of Clever Doodling Exercises and Ideas For Dog People from Quarto Books and it’s the cutest thing I’ve ever seen. It’s the perfect gift idea for your favorite dog lover. There’s a cat version, too!

LOFT red satin knot slide sandals with tee and dark skinny jeans, orange spray roses in leather tote bag

These bright red satin sandals are one of my favorite summer purchases. They add a fun pop of color to any basic outfit, from a t-shirt and jeans to a simple white dress.
