Holiday Gift Guide For Book Lovers 2018, Best Gifts For Bookworms

Guys, I must confess that I kind of hate the barrage of gift guides that pop up all over blogs this time of year. I promise not to inundate you with them here, but I couldn’t resist re-posting last year’s roundup of my favorite gifts for book lovers; consider it my digital Christmas letter to Santa. There are a few new additions to this year’s list, including a super-soft blanket that’s on the couches of all my girlfriends, a binge-reading survival kit, and a few beauty picks for ultimate reading relaxation.

Kindle Paperwhite E-reader :: I finally bought an e-reader in 2018 — #earlyadopter, ha! — and while I’ll always prefer a paper book in my hands, I love my Kindle for downloading free library books. If your bookworm is a purist and swears they’ll never read from a screen, buy them this and tell them they’ll never have to pay a library late fee again. (I keep mine protected with this cute white marble case.)

Calhoun & Co. Good At Naps Woven Throw Blanket :: Because the only thing we love more than books are book-induced coma naps.

Cuyana Classic Structured Leather Tote :: A big ol’ bag to lug around all the books we can’t put down… We never know when we may catch a five-minute break in our day to sneak in a few pages! Cuyana bags are premium quality, and I love their mantra of “fewer, better things.” Chad bought me this bag for my birthday and I lurve it. (It’s also available in suede!)

Bibliotheque Candle :: This luxury candle of “velvety fruits, dry florals, warm vanilla, and rich leather recall the hushed, book-filled rooms of an antiquated library.” Yes, please.

Book of the Month Club :: A BOTM membership is a gift that keeps on giving! Every month, BOTM judges select five new books from a sea of new releases and write detailed reviews to help you select your favorites. Your monthly picks are shipped straight to you in a cute box; sometimes with extra surprises. Get your first book for free when you join using my referral link. (Not #spon, but I get a free book, too, for every friend who joins!)

Barefoot Dreams Blanket :: The softest, plushest, coziest blanket in the game; all of my girlfriends have one on their couch. If you’re feeling extra generous, they also make a deliciously comfy robe.

Soul Soak Bath Set :: Chances are, your favorite bookworm loves reading in a hot bath.

Corkcicle Insulated Tumbler :: Keeps coffee and tea piping hot through long binge-reading sessions. (Also super handy on the go; I never leave home without one.)

Commodity ‘Book’ Eau de Parfum Travel Spray :: A book-inspired fragrance that “tips its hat to the Hemingways and Fitzgeralds of the world; transporting you away to a world of imagination and stories while capturing that quiet moment when you’re curled up with a good book.” A unique, woodsy scent with notes of sandalwood, bergamot and cypress.

Agate Bookends :: Tidy up those ever-expanding stacks with a seriously chic set of bookends. (These gold pineapples are cute, too!)

Binge-Reading Kit :: Pinch Provisions has bookworms’ backs with this reading-themed kit. Inside you’ll find: a microfiber cloth, decision coin, 3 bookmarks, ear plugs, lip balm, hand lotion, 2 coasters, “read ’em and weep” facial tissues, reading light, 2 facial cleansing towelettes and a thumb page holder.

Omorovicza Mini Mask Set :: Minis of the brand’s super-luxe skin treatments for a relaxing pampering sesh while they take in a chapter or two.

Warby Parker glasses :: Because years of reading makes us nearsighted AF! Warby Parker offers free home try-on to find the perfect frames, and for every pair purchased, a pair is given to someone in need.

Anthropologie ‘Kalmar’ Bookshelf :: When their stacks start to fill every corner of the house, buy them a great bookcase that combines form and function and they’ll love you forever. (While you’re at it, this library inspired mid-century modern media console is pretty great, too.)

LED Clip Reading Light :: For the bookworm who loves to pull page-turning all nighters.

52 Lists For Happiness :: A beautiful, undated hardcover journal with 52 listing prompts to inspire readers to reflect, acknowledge, and invest in themselves; and ultimately transform their lives by figuring out exactly what makes them happy. The perfect way to start 2019!
