Style Files: What I’m Wearing Lately

This is the most random of roundups of my #OOTD selfies: a few are from this week, and several are from last month that I forgot to upload. You can spot the oldies by the empty concrete planter; I finally got a pretty fig for her!

The common theme of my weekday uniform right now is easy blouse + jeans (mostly these from Everlane) + cute sandals. I mentioned in a recent post that Zara is killing it with shoes this season, and a few of the styles I’m wearing in this post are from their spring/summer collection. I’m really into strappy 90s styles right now — gimme all the square toes and chunky heels — and pairing a basic outfit with a colorful/unique sandal is my current favorite lazy style hack.

I’m also wearing my velvet Loeffler Randall ‘Celeste’ mules at least twice (okay, three times) a week. They’re still on sale at Farfetch, and although sizes are limited in the orange I’m wearing, there are lots of sizes available in blue. These mules were one of my biggest shoe splurges, but this rate, my cost-per-wear is going to be pretty impressive by the end of the summer.

I mentioned in my last Style Files post that I bought a lot of outerwear last spring that I never got around to wearing. This white jacket is one of those pieces. I kept it clean this entire day, which is a big accomplishment for this clumsy lady.

I was really feeling my color palette on this day (which you may have seen in my Instagram stories.) The knit tank was a steal at TJ Maxx.

Dear Keira, stop trying to make sweaters happen in this heat. We all know you love to be cozy, but it’s getting ridiculous; we’re all sweating just looking at you. (In my defense, it feels like a refrigerator in my office.) This pink sweater is from m.marie and it buttons down the back.

I bought this Nine West blouse years ago on clearance, and it’s still one of my favorite things in my closet. I packed it up at the end of last summer, and loved bringing it out in my spring closet turnover. My big leather tote is by Cuyana, and as you can see, it’s bulging with stuff I think I need to schlep to work every day. Should I do a ‘What’s In My Bag’ post?

Always love your outfit posts because you look so pulled together and fashionable without being over the top. So many of the fashion blogs I used to follow have gone into costume territory. Also would love to see the what’s in my bag post!
